The bill proposes establishing the Greater Railbelt Energy & Transportation Corporation, which would unify the six major Railbelt utility companies into one non-profit to provide the region with the best, most reliable and stable electrical power possible. The committee discussed their proposed substitute with AIDEA-AEA officials today.
