Sen. Charlie Huggins (left,) R-Wasilla, and Rep. Bill Thomas (right,) R-Haines, laugh while former AFN President and UA Regent Sam Kito, Jr., speaks about his brother Harry today during a recess of the House and Senate floor sessions. The Joint Legislative Veteran’s Caucus presented Mr. Kito, a former Marine, with a sketch of his brother, who died in combat during Vietnam. The sketch was commissioned from a photo of Harry Kito taken during his time in the armed services.
