HB 376 is a simple sunset extension bill for the State of Alaska's Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate Examiners, currently set to expire June 30, 2010.

Alaska's Board of Psychologist and Psychological Associate Examiners is composed of five members who regulate licensed psychologists and psychological associates in the State. Major Board duties include examining and issuing licenses to qualified applicants, adopting regulations to enforce governing statutes, holding hearings and imposing disciplinary sanctions as necessary on individuals who violate associated statutes and regulations.

A 2009 Division of Legislative Audit review found no substantive problems, and recommends extending the Board for an additional eight years. HB 376 does just that, carrying it forward through June 30, 2018.
